The objects remind me of many things: War, sadness for the death of many innocent lives. The toys give me much sadness for all those innocent child orphans. Thanks for this beautiful dynamic.
“The workshop is good for newcomers. It is a healing process for them as some new immigrants are coming from war in their countries.”

“The activity will help me a lot to listen and know what are the different perspectives of different people. [It] can help [me] to understand what’s in their mind, and [why they are] thinking differently. [And can help me to] understand teenagers that don’t normally communicate and [help me] just judge them on what we saw [or on what they show]"
“My name is Maimouna. I really enjoyed the session. I was refreshing and good to learn about people’s different views.”
“In my hood there was only two options: join a gang or die, so I joined a gang. I stole, I was a drug dealer all through high-school. I met my husband through life high. He wanted me to stop and have a better life. After we got married I promise him I will stop and now I am pregnant with a daughter.
“For me it was a very beautiful experience, and I learned that I can communicate through the objects.”
